About Brenda
- Brenda is a candidate for municipal council in the Southampton Ward of the Town of Saugeen Shores, in the municipal election taking place on Monday, Oct. 26, 2026.
- Brenda, with husband Dennis (a retired OPP officer), has been a resident of Saugeen Shores for 17 years and seasonal for 47 years.
- Brenda is active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors of Southampton Arts Centre (currently as Secretary and on the HR Committee), on her condominium board (director for 10 years and president for 8 years) and as a volunteer at Prance therapeutic equestrian centre.
- Retired after 33 years as teacher and school administrator.
- Born and raised on a farm in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.
- Celebrating 50th wedding anniversary in 2026.
- Two adult children, Sean and Ashley, and four grandchildren.
